TECHNO Records Launches Massive Two-Part VA Compilation TECH038 With Global Lineup

TECHNO Records is set to push thirty-plus names across two volumes of TECH038, a double-part VA compilation that begins its rollout tomorrow, March 31, with the second volume following just three days later on April 2.

The first volume, cataloged as TECH038-1, carries fifteen artists: Alessandro Grops, Argie, ASEC, Askkin, Fresko, Gerard Hall, Lewis.P, Mathys Lenne, Oculus., Sies, Tehotu, Tunga, Victor Fernandez, Vitalii Shevchenko, and Yeark. TECH038-2 then arrives on April 2, adding another wave including Alessandro (COL), CRAVO, Enfant Maudit, Exos, Jiho, Pinia Ferra, Linear System, Splinter (UA), Louwave, Luca La Rocca, Matias Rendic, Noctam, Electric Rescue, and Ombrar, among others.

Geography is one of the project's most striking features. Contributors span Ukraine, Chile, Costa Rica, Japan, and beyond, with Vitalii Shevchenko representing the Ukrainian underground on Part 1 while Part 2 places Chile's Matias Rendic, Colombia's Alessandro, and France's long-running Electric Rescue on the same release. That cross-continental reach is rare even for compilations of this scope, and it signals the label's intent to operate as a curatorial hub rather than a regional imprint.

Pre-order pages went live across Beatport, Traxsource, and Bandcamp during the week of March 23-29. As part of the lead-up campaign, GrabTheGroove premiered ASEC's "Red Scare," feeding the track into DJ circles ahead of the official release date and offering an early read on where the compilation sits sonically.

A listening party tied to tomorrow's Part 1 drop gives the project a live dimension, with TECHNO Records billing it as a chance to "connect with Nastia and the contributing artists" alongside "exclusive insights and future label plans." With Part 2 landing April 2, selectors will have the full picture within a single week.
