Free Echo Jade and Coins are sitting unclaimed in NetEase's Where Winds Meet right now, and all it takes is a few taps in the settings menu to collect them. As PC Gamer noted on March 13, 2026, "Where Winds Meet codes are the easiest way to get free currency and rewards, like Echo Jade and Coins, which will give you a decent head start in your adventure." That same update added a new code and removed an expired one from their list. Pocket Gamer followed up two days later, checking codes on March 15 and confirming a full active list. The catch: four codes on that list are marked expired by a separate source, so the window to redeem them may already be closing.

Before you redeem anything

There is one hard requirement before the code redemption system even appears: you must complete the opening tutorial and defeat the Void King. Once that fight is done and you are in the main game world, the Exchange Code option becomes available. Skipping this step means the menu path simply will not work yet.

How to redeem Where Winds Meet codes

The process is identical on mobile and PC, which means you can redeem on whichever platform you have open. Here are the exact steps:

1. From the main lobby, tap or click the cog icon on the right side of the screen to open Settings.

2. In Settings, scroll the top category tabs to the right until you reach the "Other" tab, then select it.

3. Under Account Info, press "Exchange Code."

4. Paste or type your code exactly as written into the Exchange Rewards field and confirm.

5. Open your Mailbox from the main menu to collect the incoming reward messages.

That last step catches a lot of people off guard: rewards are not delivered on-screen at the moment of redemption. They arrive in your Mailbox, and you have to actively open each message to claim them. If you enter a code and see nothing happen, check the Mailbox before assuming something went wrong.

One more warning worth taking seriously before you start typing: "Watch out for O vs 0! Some codes (like WWMGO1114) contain the letter O (as in 'Oscar'), not the number zero." Copying and pasting rather than typing by hand eliminates this problem entirely.

All active Where Winds Meet codes

The following codes are listed as active in Pocket Gamer's March 15, 2026 update. Four of them are flagged below as disputed because Gamsgo's March 2026 compilation lists them in its expired table. Redeem those specifically as soon as possible.

  • MEETINHEXI - 50 Echo Jade, 20,000 Coins, 2 Inner Way Note: Chests, 2 Oscillating Jades
  • HEXI0306 - 100 Echo Jade, 20,000 Coins (Game8's reward table for a matching code also shows 1 Lingering Melody alongside the Echo Jade and Coins, though Pocket Gamer does not list this; test your Mailbox carefully after redeeming)
  • GOOSENEWS - 40 Echo Jade, 1 Inner Way Chest
  • DEVLOG2601 - 40 Echo Jade, 20,000 Coins
  • tf33hxjmjc - 10 Echo Jade, 20,000 Coins, 1 Inner Way Note: Chest, 1 Oscillating Jade (note the lowercase letters; enter the code exactly as shown)
  • WWMDEVTALK - 40 Echo Jade, 20,000 Coins

The four codes below are listed as active by Pocket Gamer but appear in Gamsgo's expired codes table with the same reward details. Attempt these first:

  • YYSLSTIB - 10 Echo Jade, 1,000 Coins (Gamsgo labels this the "Official Social Media Follow Reward" and lists it expired)
  • WWM251115 - 10 Echo Jade, 5,000 Coins, Goose Card (Gamsgo lists this as the "Global Launch Commemorative Code" from November 15, 2025, calls the reward a "Goose God Player Nameplate" rather than Goose Card, and marks it expired)
  • WWMGLyoutube - 20 Echo Jade, 5,000 Coins, 2 Inner Way Note: Chests (Gamsgo marks this expired, tied to the "Official YouTube Launch Event")
  • WWMGLtiktok - 10 Echo Jade, 10,000 Coins (Gamsgo marks this expired, tied to the "Official TikTok Launch Event")

If you enter any of these and see the message "Code Used Up," the code has either expired or hit its redemption limit. That is the exact in-game error string you will encounter, not a generic failure notice.

Expired Where Winds Meet codes

These codes are confirmed expired across multiple sources and will return nothing but the "Code Used Up" message:

  • WWMGO1114 - Was: 100 Echo Jade, 1 Resonating Melody (Grand Opening Eve code; also the one Gamsgo uses as its example for the O-versus-zero warning)
  • WWMGO1115 - Was: 40 Echo Jade (Grand Opening Day Celebration)

Both Pocket Gamer and Gamsgo explicitly list WWMGO1114 and WWMGO1115 in their expired sections. Game8's snapshot from February 27, 2026 noted at the time that "there is no information about the codes' expiration yet," but that was before both of these codes ran out.

Why codes stop working

Errors typically come from small typing mistakes, particularly with characters that look similar. Beyond typos, many codes are time-limited or have a hard cap on total redemptions. Codes tied to specific launch events, like the YouTube and TikTok launch rewards or the November 15, 2025 global launch commemorative code, tend to have the shortest lifespan. Codes distributed via official social media follows or developer livestreams often expire once a set number of players has redeemed them, meaning even a recently issued code can go dead within days.

If a correctly entered code still fails, the redemption window has almost certainly closed. There is no workaround once a code hits "Code Used Up."

Reward types explained

Across all active codes, you are primarily collecting Echo Jade and Coins, both of which function as in-game currencies. Inner Way Note: Chests and Oscillating Jades appear in several codes as additional drops. Game8 describes the category broadly: "Redeem codes are often limited, but exchanging one while it's active can reward you with various usable items, such as Echo Jades or Resonating Memories, which are typically used as currencies within the game." The Goose God Player Nameplate (listed by Gamsgo as the reward for WWM251115, and shortened to "Goose Card" in Pocket Gamer's list) is a cosmetic item, making it the only non-currency reward currently tied to a still-disputed code.

A note on source conflicts

The disagreement between Pocket Gamer's March 15 active list and Gamsgo's expired table for YYSLSTIB, WWM251115, WWMGLyoutube, and WWMGLtiktok is a real discrepancy that in-game testing is the only way to resolve. Pocket Gamer's March 15 check is the most recent update in this research, but Gamsgo's expired table includes specific event attribution that suggests those codes were always intended to be limited-time. The safest move is to try all ten codes immediately: the ones that work will deliver rewards to your Mailbox, and the ones that have expired will tell you so directly.
