The fifth edition of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series has reached its most critical offline stage. Twenty-four teams are competing at the Sandhya Convention Center in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, with the four-day run scheduled through March 15. Only eight of them walk away with a direct ticket to the Grand Finals.

The field is split into three groups of eight. Sixteen teams earned their spots by surviving the Quarterfinals, while the remaining eight came through the Wildcard stage that concluded just days ago. Within each group, teams play a double round-robin format; according to SportsTiger, each team is set to play 16 matches across the Semi-Finals run. The top eight teams across the overall standings, regardless of group, lock in Grand Finals berths directly. The bottom 16 are not eliminated outright, but they face the Survival Stage on March 16 and 17, where eight more Grand Finals slots will be decided.

Group A features some of the tournament's most recognized outfits: HeroXtreme Godlike, NEBULA ESPORTS, and IQOO Reckoning Esports. Group B puts IQOO Orangutan, Phoenix Esports, and Genesis Esports on a collision course. Group C carries arguably the heaviest favorites: IQOO SOUL, IQOO Revenant XSPARK, and NONX Esports are all slotted there. iQOO Soul, commonly referred to as Team Soul, enters as one of the most closely watched squads in the bracket. The full 24-team field also includes Sinewy Esports, Madkings, Wild Fangs, META Ninza, Vasista Esports, WELT Esports, K9 Esports, and Victores Sumus, among others.

The Grand Finals, carrying a total prize pool of 20,000,000 INR (approximately $219,998 USD), are scheduled for March 23 through 29 at Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai. The event is organized by KRAFTON alongside Tesseract Esports.

Fans who want to attend in person can book tickets through the Swiggy Scenes app; Insidesport noted demand has been high since the bracket was announced. For those watching remotely, all matches stream live on the official KRAFTON India Esports YouTube channel in both Hindi and English.

The Survival Stage looming immediately after the Semi-Finals means no team that reaches Hyderabad is truly out of the picture, but the pressure to finish inside the top eight overall is real. For squads like Godlike and iQOO Revenant XSPARK, avoiding that extra hurdle could be the difference between arriving at Chennai rested and arriving on the back foot.
