Publisher Chorus Worldwide and developer Toge Productions released Coffee Talk: Episode 1 on iOS and Android on March 20, 2026, bringing one of indie gaming's most beloved cozy experiences to mobile for the first time. The game is free to download, letting players work through the first day of the story at no cost, with the full version available as a purchase — that unlock runs $9.99.

Coffee Talk is a visual novel developed by Indonesian indie studio Toge Productions. It first launched on PC and consoles in January 2020 and has since expanded to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The mobile release marks the first time the game has been available on a touchscreen platform.

The core loop is deceptively simple and quietly absorbing. Coffee Talk puts you in the position of listening to people's problems and helping them by serving warm drinks made from the ingredients you have in stock. Branching storylines are a core feature where divergences are shaped by how you serve the café's customers. Over the course of two weeks, each in-game day acts as a vignette, introducing different patrons.

Set in an alternative version of Seattle, the game portrays everyday lives through a cast that is more than just human: elves, orcs, succubi, mermaids, and humans coexist in a modern city that feels deeply familiar. The stories running through that cast range from the intimate to the surreal, including a dramatic love story between an elf and a succubus and a mysterious visitor quietly trying to understand what it means to live a human life.

The title stands out for its 90s-anime-inspired pixel art visuals and a melodically chill soundtrack featuring jazz and lo-fi songs, composed by Andrew Jeremy. The mobile version features adapted touch controls and an optimized interface, while including all the original content from the PC version.

The game supports English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Indonesian.

The mobile release also arrives with the broader Coffee Talk universe expanding. Toge Productions is preparing Coffee Talk Tokyo, a new installment in the series set in a night café in Tokyo. Toge Productions and Chorus Worldwide confirmed that Coffee Talk Tokyo has been delayed to May 21, 2026, with the teams citing the need for additional polish. For anyone who has been waiting to step behind the counter, the wait on mobile is already over.
