Garena Free Fire turns Bermuda's Factory into a football pitch for Fire Kickoff

Fire Kickoff is built for players who log in to feel something different the moment a match starts. Beginning June 5, Garena is turning Bermuda’s Factory into a full football field with interactive devices, while all maps pick up football-themed elements and reskinned items across the event.

That makeover is more than decoration. Fire Kickoff adds Pitch Showdown Revival, a mechanic that sends eliminated players to a football field for a one-on-one duel during the early-to-mid stages of a match, with the winner coming straight back into the fight. It also brings Football Form to both Battle Royale and Clash Squad, letting players transform into a football, get kicked into position by teammates, and spring back into an ambush. Football Blast stays exclusive to Battle Royale and throws explosive football grenades for extra damage.

Garena has also built Fire Kickoff around repeat play. The event uses a five-stage tournament journey, with a football shooting minigame at each stage, so progression is tied to actually playing matches and finishing missions rather than just collecting cosmetics. Players can earn tokens through regular play to unlock rewards, including a football-themed backpack, a new free emote, and the Female Bundle as the grand prize.

The timing makes sense for a June return. Garena’s official campaign runs through June 23, while early coverage placed the finish on June 21, but the player-facing pitch is the same: a limited-time football takeover that changes how Free Fire looks and plays. It follows a familiar Garena pattern of big seasonal live-service events, after recent campaigns like Beat Carnival, Undersea Mystery, Lost Treasure, Winterlands: Dreamspace, and Solara, plus past football tie-ins such as Football Fable in December 2022 and the BLUE LOCK collaboration in 2024.

That football lane is not just a one-off skin swap. Garena has already tied Free Fire’s 2026 rhythm to the wider esports calendar, with Free Fire set for the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 15 to 18. Fire Kickoff lands as a visible warm-up to that larger moment, and Bermuda’s Factory is the clearest sign of what it offers: a familiar map with enough new tools, rewards, and football flair to make June worth jumping back into.
