WizKids Unveils Huge Pathfinder Battles Giant Animated Statue Miniature
A Huge Giant Animated Statue is coming to Pathfinder Battles with a pre-painted 75mm base and a $34.99 tag. It is the kind of boss-piece GMs can drop straight into a vault fight.

WizKids just gave Pathfinder GMs a cleaner way to stage a construct boss fight: a Huge Giant Animated Statue boxed miniature drawn from Pathfinder 2E: Monster Core. The piece is built for the exact kind of encounter that usually gets lost when you are forced to improvise with a stand-in, because this is not a random medium monster on a big base. It is a Huge figure meant to dominate a room, block sightlines, and make a sealed chamber feel like a place with real danger in it.
That is the real value here. Giant animated statues are the sort of guardian monster Pathfinder keeps leaning on for treasure vaults, sanctums, and other spaces where the fight should feel like an intrusion. WizKids describes them as protectors of large vaults and spacious chambers, which is exactly the niche a good table prop should fill. On the map, a Huge construct changes how a combat reads immediately. It stops being just another stat block and becomes the thing the party has to maneuver around, flank, and survive long enough to crack apart.
WizKids is selling the statue in two forms, which makes sense for the audience Pathfinder Battles serves. The pre-painted version comes on a 75mm clear base and is listed at $34.99. The unpainted Deep Cuts version is priced at $24.99. One version is ready to drop on the table the moment the box opens. The other gives painters a larger canvas for stone texture, weathering, and whatever ancient rune work you want to build into the model. That split tells you exactly who WizKids thinks will want this: active groups looking for a centerpiece and collectors who want another display-worthy monster from Golarion.
The release is also another reminder that Pathfinder’s miniature support still has a useful rhythm to it. Paizo’s current Pathfinder Battles line already includes Planar Perils, while older sets such as Shattered Star and Legends of Golarion show how long this partnership has been turning Pathfinder creatures into physical pieces for the table. This Giant Animated Statue fits that pattern neatly, but it also asks a better question: are premium, named monster releases like this what active Pathfinder groups want more of from WizKids, instead of only broad booster coverage?

WizKids has the Giant Animated Statue listed as a pre-order item, with retail set for November 2026. For groups that like their boss fights to look as dangerous as they play, that is the kind of upgrade that earns table space fast.
