Leaked specifications for the Oppo Find X9 Ultra painted a picture of a camera-obsessed flagship built around a dual 200MP sensor arrangement, with a Hasselblad partnership, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and what Oppo has called a "global release" ahead of an alleged April debut.

The camera array is the headline act. According to leaks aggregated from a Bulgarian site called Nixanbal and reported by multiple outlets, the Find X9 Ultra carries a 200MP main camera on a large 1/1.12-inch sensor, with previous reports suggesting it could be Sony's Lytia 901, introduced in late 2025 and designed for improved dynamic range and low-light performance. Alongside it sits a second 200MP periscope camera handling 3x optical zoom, a 50MP periscope with 10x optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a dedicated color sensor housed inside the massive circular camera island. Up front, a 50MP selfie camera rounds out the array. All of it has been developed in partnership with Hasselblad, and the phone will ship with what Notebookcheck described as "an upgraded Hasselblad Master Mode." Notebookcheck also noted a rumor that the 10x periscope telephoto is "3x faster than the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's 10x zoom camera," though that claim remains unverified.

The circular camera module design carries over from the Find X8 Ultra, which 91mobiles described as "widely regarded as one of the best camera phones of 2025." AndroidHeadlines confirmed the design continuity via leaked images, noting the X9 Ultra "will stick with the same round camera module design as last year's Find X8 Ultra" rather than adopting the flatter aesthetic of the standard Find X9 series. That round module is substantial: the phone measures between 8.65mm and 9.1mm thick and weighs 235g or 236g, with a metal frame and a faux leather back Techadvisor described as evoking "classic cameras."

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a departure from the Dimensity 9500 used in both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Techadvisor reported 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage as standard, paired with a 7050 mAh battery and charging speeds of 100W wired and 50W wireless, the latter confirmed through Chinese certification filings. The 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED ProXDR display runs at 3,120 x 1,440 resolution, hits a 144Hz maximum refresh rate, peaks at 3,600 nits brightness, and is covered by Oppo's NanoCrystal Glass. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 certification.

Oppo has confirmed a "global release," making the Find X9 Ultra the first Ultra model in the Find X lineup to launch internationally. AndroidHeadlines offered a pointed caveat: "Remember, OPPO said the same thing for the Find N5 last year, only for it to launch in around 5 markets. So we'll wait and see which markets the Find X9 Ultra comes to." With an alleged April launch window now circulating, the gap between those promises and real-world availability is about to be tested.
