Terrell Owens Joins Centerline Athletics, Will Design Pickleball Apparel Collection
NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens signed with Centerline Athletics as brand ambassador and will co-design an exclusive pickleball apparel collection dropping later in 2026.

Centerline Athletics, the premium performance apparel brand built for the modern pickleball athlete, has partnered with NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, who joined the brand as its newest brand ambassador. The deal, announced March 20, goes deeper than a standard endorsement: Owens is collaborating with Centerline designers on an exclusive performance apparel collection that will debut later this year.
A lifelong competitor, Owens has embraced pickleball with the same intensity that defined his football career, and as part of the partnership he will highlight his favorite pieces from Centerline's current performance collection through a dedicated landing page featuring the apparel he wears on court. According to Centerline's athlete profile, Owens is already competing at a serious level, with the brand designing advanced pickleball apparel built for performance, comfort, and style, including breathable, UPF-protected, GripTek-enhanced gear of the kind Owens will be curating and showcasing. The Centerline site places him among a roster that includes Zach Gonnering, Sarah Lister, and Kaitlin Miller, and notes he has been competing in events like the APP Chicago Open. The 2026 APP Chicago Open is scheduled to be held in Highland Park, IL beginning July 22, 2026.
Owens made clear the draw wasn't just competitive. "Pickleball doesn't discriminate. It doesn't matter what age you are, what you look like, what your body type is, it's a sport that welcomes everybody," he said. That inclusive pitch matters coming from Owens, whose profile in football was anything but quiet: his Hall of Fame career included three years with the Dallas Cowboys. Now the same drive is pointed at a paddle court. Owens brings to the court what he calls the three D's: Desire, Dedication, and Discipline. "Competition has always been part of who I am," he said. "Whether it's football or pickleball, the mindset stays the same: show up prepared, compete hard, and bring energy every time you step on the court."
Scott Brown, Managing Director at Centerline, framed the signing as a values match rather than a celebrity grab. "Terrell embodies the competitive spirit that defines Centerline. His passion for sport, athleticism, and community aligns perfectly with what we're building," Brown said.
The collection itself, described by Centerline as blending "high-performance functionality with his signature style," has no confirmed launch date beyond "later in 2026." Owens will continue to work closely with the brand throughout the year, helping shape product development, storytelling, and community engagement around the game. Specific details on number of pieces, materials, pricing, or distribution channels have not been disclosed.
Centerline Athletics was founded in 2023 and, in December of that year, merged with Civile Apparel to consolidate performance and lifestyle lines under one roof. The brand holds official partnerships with DUPR, USA Pickleball, APP, MiLP, and NPL, giving the Owens collection a built-in competitive circuit to activate against. As pickleball continues to grow as America's fastest-growing sport, the partnership signals Centerline's expanding influence across the broader sports culture landscape.
Owens' curated picks are available now at centerlineathletics.com, with the co-designed collection to follow as the 2026 season plays out.
