World Pickleball Convention Returns for 6th Year With Expanded Programming and Record Crowds
The 6th World Pickleball Convention lands in West Palm Beach in October with 8,000 attendees projected, making it the single biggest sourcing window of the year for retreat operators.

The 6th Annual World Pickleball Convention & Conference is scheduled for October 15-17 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, with organizers projecting more than 8,000 attendees and an expanded vendor floor that retreat operators can use as a targeted sourcing window for court surfaces, pre-market paddle tech, and franchise partnership conversations.
Coming off what organizers called a record-breaking year for attendance, the convention has added capacity across every programming track. The vendor hall will be larger than any prior edition and is specifically built around paddle and accessory launches that won't reach standard retail channels until 2027. For retreat operators building out loaner fleets or upgrading guest gear packages, it's one of the few venues where hands-on testing of unreleased product is possible at scale before the broader market sees it.
The business panel slate is specific enough to warrant mapping before arrival. Confirmed sessions cover court electrification, including infrastructure costs and funding models for lit outdoor and indoor courts; franchise structures for multi-location pickleball operations; and paddle supply-chain strategy as equipment manufacturers navigate an active period of compliance revision. These panels are designed for court managers and event promoters already running operations, not newcomers seeking an introduction to the sport.
One of the more targeted opportunities for retreat businesses is the crossover programming track, which directly connects tennis and racquet-sport facility operators with pickleball infrastructure resources. As more clubs convert existing courts or build dedicated pickleball space, the sessions on dual-use facility economics compress what would otherwise take months of scattered research into a focused conference day.

Coach recruitment is another return on the trip. The convention includes structured certification sessions for instructors, and the concentration of touring pros, certified coaches, and performance specialists makes it a practical venue to vet and interview prospective hires for resort-based programs.
Organizers confirmed the 2026 edition will pair in-person programming with digital sessions for operators who cannot travel, though the vendor floor and hands-on product testing remain exclusive to in-person attendance. Exhibitor booth space has sold out in prior editions, and the expanded hall is expected to follow the same pattern given the growth in vendor interest the convention has seen year over year.
