USA Table Tennis Confirms U.S. Open at Mandalay Bay in 2026, 2027
USA Table Tennis signed a two-year agreement to stage the 2026 and 2027 U.S. Open at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, the federation announced on 17 February 2026.

USA Table Tennis confirmed a two-year agreement to return the U.S. Open Table Tennis Championships to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas for 2026 and 2027, the federation announced from COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. on 17 February 2026. The press release described the venue as the "world-renowned Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino" and framed the decision as a follow-up to the "widely praised 2025 U.S. Open."
The announcement included the federation’s stated priorities for the next two editions: to "continue expanding participation, enhancing fan engagement, and elevating the overall athlete experience." The press copy opened with the line, "USA Table Tennis (USATT) is pleased to announce a two-year agreement to bring the 2026 and 2027 U.S. Open Table Tennis Championships back to the world-renowned Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas."
Promotional messaging accompanying the announcement reinforced the event scale from the 2025 framework, with USATT social posts stating, "Over 100 competition tables, thousands of matches, America’s best, international elite, and one unforgettable atmosphere" and the tagline, "Vegas brings the energy. We’ll bring the competition." The social snippet captured in the materials showed 20 reactions and 1 comment at the time of capture.
Organizers declined to pin specific competition dates for 2026 or 2027 in the announcement. The press materials said that "additional details regarding event dates and registration will be announced in the coming months" on the USATT website, leaving the exact December calendar used in 2025 unconfirmed for future years.

The 2025 U.S. Open prospectus included operational details that USATT referenced as precedent but did not confirm for 2026 or 2027. The 2025 prospectus listed the official tournament hotel and convention address as Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119, and noted Harry Reid International Airport as the closest international airport. The prospectus specified Mandalay Bay Convention Center Halls E and F for the playing halls and showed a December 16–21, 2025 competition window with pre-tournament practice and registration on December 15, 2025, and the Men’s and Women’s Singles finals scheduled for the afternoon and evening of Saturday, December 20, 2025.
The 2025 prospectus also named tournament management and officiating personnel for that year: Tournament Director Vlad Farcas, Deputy Tournament Director Craig Krum, Tournament Manager Robert Mayer, Referee Dan Reynolds (IR), Deputy Referees Tony Shaw (Canada) (IR) and Deepak Somarapu (IR), Chief Umpire Linda Leaf (NR), and Deputy Chief Umpire/Examiner Joseph Yick (IR). The prospectus contained the umpire-assignment policy, "If an umpire is available, a certified umpire will be assigned by the Chief Umpire at the request of any player in a match." A separate prospectus fragment included a capitalized testing directive in isolation; that fragment appears without full context in the 2025 materials and was not presented as an active policy for 2026 or 2027.
USATT has positioned Mandalay Bay as the site for the next two U.S. Opens and said it will post dates, registration windows, and ticketing information on its website in the coming months, leaving operational specifics such as halls in use, number of competition tables, and match schedules to be confirmed in future prospectus materials.
