Maoli and Kabaka Pyramid Unite on New Single "Clarity" for MMO3 Series

Hawaiian artist Maoli brought Jamaican reggae artist Kabaka Pyramid into the fold for "Clarity," a new single released March 6, 2026 through Awong Entertainment under exclusive license to ONErpm. The three-minute track slots into Maoli's continuing Maoli Music Overload series, now in its third installment, MMO3.

The pairing puts two distinct voices from opposite ends of the reggae diaspora on the same riddim. Maoli has been building catalog steadily since "Golden" in 2013, moving through "The Breakthrough" in 2020, "My Reason" the same year, and then into the MMO run, which launched in 2023 with "Maoli Music Overload" and continued with MMO2 that same year. "Clarity" represents the next chapter of that series. Kabaka Pyramid, for his part, has been one of the most active forces in conscious reggae, with releases including "The Kalling Album," "Sticks & Stones," and collaborative cuts alongside Wayne Marshall and Jesse Royal on "Cane Fields."

Production on "Clarity" is credited to Awong Entertainment, the same entity that holds the phonographic copyright. Distribution runs through ONErpm, placing the single across major streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.

For a series built on momentum, dropping a Kabaka Pyramid feature as part of MMO3 raises the stakes considerably. The MMO installments have functioned as a vehicle for Maoli to release focused, consistent work outside of full album cycles, and bringing in an artist of Kabaka Pyramid's weight signals that the third volume is meant to land harder than the previous two.
