Reggae Fest Atlanta postponed after family bereavement, refunds announced
Reggae Fest Atlanta was pushed back after a family bereavement, with refunds set through the original point of purchase and no new date announced yet.

Reggae Fest Atlanta will not hit State Farm Arena this weekend. The Memorial Day weekend showcase, promoted as Reggae Fest Massive ATL, was postponed after promoter CJ Milan said a death in the family forced the delay, and organizers apologized for the late notice while saying they are working to secure a new date.
The show had been set for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, a venue listed at about 21,000 for concerts. Live Nation and Discover Atlanta both carried the event on their calendars, and the festival website had billed it with a heavy dancehall lineup led by Mavado, Beenie Man, Busy Signal, Spice, Elephant Man, Ding Dong, Vanessa Bling, Serani, Tony Matterhorn and T.O.K.
For fans, the biggest practical change is the ticket situation. Organizers said refunds will go through the original point of purchase, and Ticketmaster told patrons the money should appear within 14 to 21 days after funds are received from the organizer. Ticketmaster also said transferred tickets will be refunded to the original purchaser, not the person who received the transfer.

As of May 19, 2026, no replacement date had been announced publicly, leaving one of the bigger reggae and dancehall events on the U.S. Memorial Day weekend calendar in limbo. The postponement also scrambles a weekend that had been drawing major attention from Atlanta’s Caribbean music crowd, where a State Farm Arena bill with Mavado, Beenie Man, Busy Signal and Spice had become one of the season’s loudest draws.
The tone around the postponement has been a mix of disappointment and sympathy. Fans had been gearing up for a stacked Atlanta dancehall night, but the family bereavement at the center of the delay has clearly taken priority. For now, the sound system has gone quiet, the refunds are in motion, and the next move for Reggae Fest Massive ATL depends on when organizers can lock in a new date.
