Rust Nation UK 2026 Debuts First Dedicated Rust Conference in London
Rust Nation UK held workshops at 1 America Square and a multi-track conference at The Brewery, attracting what organisers described as "over 400 delegates, speakers, and sponsors."

London hosted the UK's first dedicated Rust conference when Rust Nation UK ran a full day of hands-on workshops at 1 America Square on February 18 and a one-day, multi-track main conference at The Brewery on February 19, following a community pre-conference meetup at TrueLayer Auditorium on February 17. The event identity was billed on the organiser site as "Rust Nation UK is the Uk's first dedicated Rust conference, bringing together the community for two days of learning and networking in the heart of London."
Organisers listed the ticket price on event listings as £220.00 + £44.00 VAT, and ticket copy specified what attendees received: "Entrance to all keynotes and conference sessions; Entrance to all social events; Breakfast, lunch, 2 cake & coffee breaks; All day access to the exhibit hall and delegate lounge; WiFi, charging points and cloakroom." The Meetup page for the pre-conference LDN Talks included a community promo code, RustLDN2026, for those booking tickets, and Rust Nation's social feed ran a limited-time offer attaching the Ardan Labs Ultimate Rust Bundle to tickets, "After Saturday, at midnight, the bundle (worth $299.99) expires."
The technical programme included named talks and community showcases pulled from the published listings. David Wood, identified in event copy as a Rust Compiler Team co-lead and lead of Arm’s Rust team, presented "Extending Rust’s notions of sizedness"; his abstract stated, "This talk is based on work I am completing upstream as the co-lead of the compiler team and the lead of Arm’s Rust team. It is based on this RFC - which is partially implemented. We hope to stabilise the implemented parts before this talk is presented." Community Showcase speaker Iason Paraskevopoulos delivered "Building an OSS Remote Pair Programming App in Rust," whose abstract explained, "Hopp is a multi-user remote control and screen sharing app designed for fast, natural collaboration... It covers why we chose Tauri for cross-platform development early on, the headaches caused by WebKit’s inconsistencies and WebRTC issues, and why we are moving towards a Rust-native UI." The Meetup-hosted pre-conference event was listed as "LDN Talks February: Rust Nation Pre-Conference Meetup," hosted by Ernest K. and others, with sessions scheduled from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at TrueLayer Auditorium, 40 Finsbury Square.

Sponsors and exhibitor activity featured prominently in organiser messaging. Rust Nation announced Keyrock as a "PLATINUM SPONSOR for 2026," describing Keyrock as "a global crypto investment firm offering industry-leading solutions in Market Making, OTC, Asset Management and Options for digital assets" and noting they "are huge Rust advocates and will be in our sponsor hall talking all things RustFi!" Recruitment sponsor Realm returned for a third year with promised 10-minute drop-in sessions at their stand. Ticket copy had promised "all day access to the exhibit hall and delegate lounge" to accommodate sponsor engagement.
Community and industry calendars framed the conference as part of the Q1 Rust schedule. Corrode Dev, in its Q1 2026 roundup, said "Rust Nation has evolved into a staple event in the Rust community. The organization, speaker lineup, and recordings are always top-notch. As per tradition, they kick off the year of Rust conferences." Organisers reiterated that "Anyone is welcome to attend the conference, whether you're a professional, hobbyist, manager, or just starting out, there's something for everyone," alongside a published Code of Conduct for delegates.
