Western Spirit Launches Multi-Sport Adventure Trips From Moab This Spring
Western Spirit is adding hiking, rafting, and fishing to its lineup after 30+ years of bike-only tours, with new multi-sport trips running Moab to the Grand Tetons.

After more than three decades of guiding cyclists through the American West, Western Spirit Adventures has expanded its lineup to include multi-sport itineraries that mix hiking, paddling, fishing, and casual biking into all-inclusive backcountry trips. The Moab-based company announced the launch of its new Western Spirit Adventure Trips on March 12, with bookings now open for departures running April through October 2026.
The new four-to-five-day trips depart from Moab and other western gateways, threading into remote areas of national parks, forests, and monuments that Western Spirit says require specialized permits to access. Professional guides handle all cooking and gear setup, custom support vehicles haul equipment between camps, and guests can either bring their own camping kit or rent gear directly from the company. The itineraries are all-inclusive, combining gourmet camp meals with what the company's own site describes as "campfires, legendary chocolate brownies, and great conversation, accompanied by the best stargazing ever."
Three 2026 itineraries are already highlighted. The San Juan Adventure Trip pairs alpine hiking with river rafting; the Redwood National Park Adventure Trip traces Northern California's dramatic coastline; and the Grand Teton Adventure Trip circumnavigates the iconic Teton range. All three are designed to require no specialized skills and to accommodate every fitness level, from first-time backcountry visitors to seasoned travelers looking for a harder push.
CEO Ashley Korenblat framed the expansion as a natural extension of the company's core mission. "After more than 30 years of helping people discover the outdoors through our cycling adventures, we're excited to bring even more people into the adventure," Korenblat said. "Time in the backcountry does wonders for the body and soul, and by expanding our guided trips to include other accessible outdoor activities, we can help even more people step away from the crowds, unplug from their devices, and soak up the magic of the great outdoors."

Western Spirit, which has been operating cycling tours since 1990, claims the largest lineup of guided backcountry trips in the country. The Adventure Trips are positioned to complement rather than replace those cycling tours, folding in paddling, boating excursions, and fishing alongside the biking components that built the company's reputation.
