Mimpify, the Hamptons-based mobile tennis operation co-founded by coaches Dimitar Pamukchiyan and Wena Tsan, has posted a full job listing for a seasonal Mobile Summer Tennis Professional to work across the Southampton and Hamptons area. The role is built for an on-the-road coach, covering both summer camps and private lessons for children and adults throughout the region. The application window opened in late March.

The position sits at the heart of Mimpify's core service model. The company brings private tennis lessons directly to clients at their home courts across the Hamptons, and whoever fills this role will be expected to do the same, traveling throughout Southampton and the surrounding area rather than working out of a single facility.

On the camp side, the new hire will support a program with a well-established local footprint. Mimpify Summer Tennis Camp runs in conjunction with Southampton High School Tennis and is offered as a half-day program. Sessions run from 9am to 12pm, Mondays through Fridays. The camp is open to the public and is also accessible to Southampton District students with a special flat rate for participating. This summer, the camp will be hosted at Southampton High School on the newly resurfaced seven hard courts.

The teaching philosophy behind the camp is one the right candidate will need to embrace. With a low coach-to-player ratio, kids receive more personalized attention to learn and improve in a shorter period of time. The half-day program is available for players of all levels ages 5 to 16, whether a child is a beginner, trying out for high school tennis, or competing in high-level tournaments.

Dimitar and Wena bring serious competitive pedigree to the program they built. Both have extensive backgrounds in tennis, previously competing at the collegiate and professional level. Dimitar rose to number one in Bulgaria's boys' juniors before reaching top three in the men's, and by age 16 was ranked on the ATP tour for doubles before switching to college tennis. After college, he coached and traveled with top 100 WTA players across different continents. Mimpify was founded during the pandemic of 2020 in the Hamptons.

Dimitar has spoken directly about what drove that founding: "We initially built on the mission to give kids a sense of normalcy when COVID was at its peak. We were just a couple of regular tennis professionals who love being outdoors and active, and we felt like that freedom was compromised. For young children, their entire daily routine was thrown off. No outdoor activities with friends. Schools were closed. Sleepaway camps were cancelled. Sporting competitions were postponed. Kids could not just be kids anymore."

Mimpify's Kids Summer Tennis program runs two five-week sessions: June 23 to July 25, and July 28 to August 29. Prospective applicants can reach Mimpify through mimpify.com, where the full job listing and camp registration details are available. Compensation, required certifications, and exact application deadlines were not specified in the posting materials and should be confirmed directly with Mimpify.
