Montauk Tennis updated its website and put its operations into what the site calls “WE ARE CURRENTLY IN WINTER MODE.” The site bluntly answers inquiries with the line “_NO, WE DO NOT HAVE A BUBBLE because IT’S OUTDOOR OR BUST FOR US!!_” and states plainly that “THE 2026 MEMBERSHIP, PRICING, AND SPRING 2026 SCHEDULE WILL BE RELEASED THIS SPRING.” The page is signed “lots of love, Molly,” lists a header phone number of 631-377-9623 but adds “THE PHONE IS OFF FOR THE WINTER SO IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR ARE WANTING TO PURCHASE A GIFT CARD FOR A SPECIAL SOMEONE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, FEEL FREE TO SHOOT AN EMAIL TO INFO@MONTAUKTENNIS.CLUB,” and names three court locations with addresses: Hither Hills Racquet Club, 2145 Montauk Highway; Montauk Downs Tennis, 331 Fairview Avenue; and Montauk Yacht Club, 52 Star Island Road.

While Montauk Tennis holds its cards close on exact spring dates, Gotham Tennis Academy - Montauk is publicly selling a 2026 Gotham MTK membership aimed at locking in players early. Gotham frames the program as a way to “keep prices as affordable as possible and guarantees priority booking. Only a limited number of memberships are offered each season.” The academy lists limited-time membership prices with struck-through originals: Individual reduced to $400 (was $500), Couples $550 (was $650), and Family $650 (was $750). Gotham highlights member perks including “Priority booking status for Members, which helps secure your tennis reservations especially during peak demand times,” “Complimentary court time (subject to availability, generally between 12pm-4pm),” and “Free weekly Friday evening doubles.”

Gotham also published a full member versus non-member fee matrix for lessons, clinics, and courts. Private lessons with a staff pro are $150 for non-members, $135 for members, and $125 for member 10-packs; head-pro private lessons are $170 non-member, $155 member, $145 member 10-pack. Adult clinics (1.5 hours) run from $60 to $80 for non-members depending on format and $45 to $70 for members with 10-pack discounts. Court rentals are $38 per hour for reservations and $30 for walk-ons for non-members; members pay $25 reservation and $20 walk-on. Gotham’s message repeats urgency: “Because of the huge savings and because the number of memberships is limited, we hope you will consider joining early and acting now!”

Demand for the spring-summer season is visible in AD-IN and Gotham’s jointly hosted Montauk Tennis Retreats for June. The retreats advertise Gotham Tennis Montauk as “located in a stunning nature preserve” with “The eight perfectly maintained clay courts” and limited groups of 12-16 players. Dates listed include June 5-7, 2026 for player levels 2.5-3.25 and June 12-14, 2026 for levels 3.5-4.5. A sample package for June 5-7 showed a $1,799 per-person option for a room with one queen-sized bed marked “SOLD OUT.” The retreat’s Sunday itinerary gives concrete timing: 8 am hotel checkout, 8:30 am-10 am first tennis session, 10 am-12 pm rest or free play, 12 pm-1 pm second session, and a 2 pm departure back to NYC; retreat questions are directed to info@ad-in.me.

Local hospitality programming running through the same window provides additional context for spring traffic. Gurney’s Resorts lists Midwinter Break Feb 13-22, 2026, Igloos By The Sea through April 12, 2026, Gurney’s Spring Break April 3-12, 2026, Easter Brunch on April 5, 2026, and Mother’s Day Weekend May 8-10, 2026, among other events. Between Montauk Tennis’s “no bubble” winter posture, Gotham’s capped MTK memberships and the AD-IN retreats with sold-out room options, the early signals point to tight court demand once Montauk Tennis publishes its 2026 membership, pricing, and spring schedule this spring. Montauk Tennis directs inquiries and gift-card purchases to INFO@MONTAUKTENNIS.CLUB; Gotham’s membership materials include a “Click to Apply for Gotham Montauk Membership” link, and retreat questions go to info@ad-in.me.
