Westhampton Beach Open adds prize-money tennis to the Hamptons scene

Westhampton Beach will have a rare late-summer draw for serious match play when the Westhampton Men’s Open 2026 lands at Westhampton Beach Tennis and Sport from Aug. 20 through Aug. 23. The verified prize-money event will be open to all ages, will feature singles and doubles, and will give East End players a concrete reason to circle Westhampton again before Labor Day.

The entry details are straightforward enough for players trying to plan around a packed August. Registration will close Aug. 16 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, with entry fees listed from $95 to $130.63. UTR Sports lists total prize money at $2.8K, and the payout will scale with the size of the singles field. If the bracket reaches 48 or more entrants, the singles champion will earn up to $1,250; if the field lands in the 32-plus range, the top prize will be $1,000. Singles may begin as early as Thursday afternoon if the draw is large, while doubles can start Friday or Saturday depending on the number of teams. Sunday, Aug. 23, is set for the men’s semifinals and finals, along with the doubles semifinals and finals.
