TOMY Launches First-Ever Beyblade Virtual World Championship on Roblox
TOMY's Beyblade X-Battles hit 100 million Roblox visits in 11 months — now it's hosting a free world championship inside the game this May.

Hundred million visits in eleven months is the kind of number that earns a celebration, and TOMY is cashing that in with competitive hardware. On March 21, "BEYBLADE Day," the Tokyo-based toy company announced the BEYBLADE X-BATTLES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 ON ROBLOX, billed as "the first-ever virtual BEYBLADE world championship," alongside a separate real-world championship event set for Bangkok, Thailand in December 2026.
The Roblox event runs May 15 through May 25, 2026 (Japan Standard Time) inside the existing BEYBLADE X-BATTLES world. The milestone that triggered it: BEYBLADE X-BATTLES surpassed 100 million total user visits worldwide in approximately 11 months after its March 2025 launch, a figure measured as of February 2026. TOMY explicitly framed the championship as a commemoration of that milestone.
Entry is free for any Roblox account holder who has reached Level 5 or higher in BEYBLADE X-BATTLES, which means the grind to qualify has already been happening inside the game for players who never knew a world championship was coming. Some paid content is available within the experience, but participation itself costs nothing. Performance in the championship earns players event-exclusive digital BEYBLADEs, and a separate spin-based event gives participants a shot at free UGC items.
TOMY developed the Roblox title through its franchise partnership with ADK Emotions under the BEYBLADE X banner, with Roblox as platform partner. Hasbro and Funko are also referenced as commercial partners in the announcement, though TOMY has not yet detailed the specific nature of their involvement in the championship.

The company began rolling out tournament videos sequentially on the BEYBLADE English – Official YouTube Channel starting the afternoon of March 21. Full event details are live at beyblade.takaratomy.co.jp/beyblade-x/roblox/, and the Roblox world itself sits at roblox.com/games/85070202669030/.
The Bangkok December event, described as a "premier BEYBLADE X Championship," carries no further confirmed details yet: no venue, no exact dates, and no word on whether the Roblox championship feeds into qualification for the real-world finals. For the 100 million players who already logged visits, May 15 is the first answer to what all that spinning was actually building toward.
