WWE 2K26 Launches March 13, CM Punk Cover, 400+ Superstars Confirmed

Visual Concepts and 2K announced final commercial details March 6 and confirmed WWE 2K26 will release worldwide in two waves: special editions opened early on March 6 and the Standard Edition reaches players on March 13. The Standard Edition carries CM Punk on the cover, with 2K describing him as the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion on that box art, and GameRant reports more than 400 superstars are already confirmed for the roster.

Three premium editions, King of Kings, Attitude Era, and Monday Night War, were listed as available March 6 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, and include early access. GameRant spelled out the unlock windows: console early access began at midnight local time on March 6, while the PC version unlocked worldwide at 12:00 AM UTC on March 6. Edition contents and pricing vary across sources. TheSmackDownHotel lists Standard at $69.99, King of Kings at $99.99, and Attitude Era at $129.99; 2K’s newsroom confirmed the King of Kings, Attitude Era, and Monday Night War editions all include the Joe Hendry Pack, which Wikipedia describes as a playable Joe Hendry, themed attire, and digital items for MyFACTION and The Island modes. The Monday Night War Edition is noted to include the WrestleMania 42 Pack, with that pack slated as coming Summer 2026 and its exact date to be announced post-launch.

Pre-order entitlements include a digital copy of WWE 2K25 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows when ordered before launch, though 2K’s store copy specifically excludes Nintendo Switch 2 from that digital WWE 2K25 offer. Limited-time VC bonuses were offered in the initial pre-order window: 15,000 VC in WWE 2K26 and 67,500 VC in WWE 2K25 for Attitude Era or Monday Night War pre-orders on PS5 or Xbox, with the window running through February 23 and a start date given as January 29 or January 30 in different site snippets.

Visual Concepts framed the release as a broad upgrade to the franchise.
