Warhammer Vault Returns, Adding White Dwarf Issues Up To Number 500
The Warhammer Vault resumed adding digitised White Dwarf issues after more than a year of silence, with the archive crossing the milestone 500th issue.

After going quiet for over a year, the Warhammer Vault quietly resumed uploading digitised White Dwarf issues, and on 4 March the archive crossed a significant threshold. As Warhammer Community put it: "After a short hiatus to keep its stacks of old magazines from toppling over, the Warhammer Vault is back to converting issues of White Dwarf for your viewing pleasure, and this week it crosses the threshold onto the momentous 500th issue."
The update had already been noticed on Reddit before the official announcement, with community members flagging that two new White Dwarf issues had appeared in the Vault over the preceding weeks. "Warhammer+ appears to have quietly started updating the Warhammer Vault again," one post noted, observing that the only addition during the preceding year-plus of silence had been a short excerpt from the Ultimate Guide to Warhammer 40,000.
For context on how far the archive stretches, a Lexicanum snapshot from September 2025 recorded that the Vault held all White Dwarf issues from August 2003 to January 2014 and from September 2016 to March 2024. The new additions push that range into the 499/500 territory, though the exact issue numbers added in this specific tranche were not confirmed in official messaging beyond the milestone framing. Worth noting for anyone diving into the sourcebook sections: all uploaded books have their rules content stripped, so page numbers in the Vault versions won't match the original publications.
The Vault is not the only thing receiving attention this week. Also available through Warhammer Community is a Black Books download running to 23 pages covering the World Eaters mustering world of Bodt. These short lore supplements are worth tracking down; physical copies regularly fetch serious money on the secondary market.

For subscribers who want suggested reading while the Vault's back catalogue loads, the Imperial Armour: The Badab War books remain essential for anyone wanting the full Huron Blackheart saga, while Gathering Storm, Warhammer: Visions, and The Imperial Knight Companion featuring Gerantius are all available to browse. On the animated side of Warhammer+, Trazyn's Tesseract Trials has returned, putting Chaos Marines and Sororitas through holographic Necron trials.
Separately, the Black Library Celebration is running concurrently, with a special commemorative coin available at Warhammer stores this month. The Black Library side of the hobby has been active regardless, with notable releases including Chem Dog by Callum Davis and the Grombrindal anthology collecting The Trials of Albarak, the latter serialised in White Dwarf starting in issue 512. David Guymer's Old White-Fur similarly originated in White Dwarf from issue 480 in September 2022 before making its way to collected release.
Warhammer+ subscribers accessing the Vault also receive a monthly 15 percent merchandise discount voucher for the official merch store, subscriber-only prize competitions, and for annual subscribers the choice of one of two diorama miniatures each year.
