HOKA and Pueblita Host West Hollywood Charity 5K Ending in Community Yoga
HOKA and Pueblita's "Community Moves LA" charity 5K on Melrose Ave raised funds for immigrant advocacy nonprofit Órale, closing with a yoga flow led by Bloom Yoga Events.

HOKA's storefront on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood became the starting line for "Community Moves LA" on Sunday, as the athletic brand and local restaurant Pueblita co-hosted a charity 5K raising funds for Órale, a nonprofit dedicated to providing advocacy and resources for immigrant families impacted by ICE.
The event opened at 7:30 a.m. on March 29, with participants completing the 5K course at their own pace, whether running, jogging, or walking, before returning to the HOKA store for a group recovery yoga session led by Bloom Yoga Events. Organizers asked attendees to bring their own yoga mats and towels for the post-run flow, which served as both a physical reset and the communal anchor of the morning.
Refreshments included Iyali Coffee and tortillas from Pueblita, with a community raffle offering prizes including HOKA products rounding out the program. The gathering also doubled as a networking space for local runners and activists, bringing together two communities whose overlap is more natural than it might first appear: both are built on collective effort and showing up.
Órale's mission gave "Community Moves LA" a civic weight that separates it from standard brand-hosted run clubs. By channeling the proceeds of a Sunday morning 5K toward direct immigrant community support, HOKA and Pueblita framed the miles themselves as an act of solidarity.
The Bloom Yoga Events recovery flow was not an afterthought. Structuring the yoga session as the program's conclusion rather than an optional add-on made the discipline central to the event's identity, and the open-pace 5K format ensured the mat was accessible to every participant who walked through HOKA's door at dawn.
