Messika Names Julianne Moore Its New Global Brand Ambassador
Messika named Julianne Moore its global brand ambassador, formalizing a bond that began when Moore wore the maison's Move necklace in the 2018 film Gloria Bell.

Messika formally named Julianne Moore its global brand ambassador on March 6, 2026, formalizing what the Paris-based diamond maison called "a bond long in the making" — one that stretches back more than six years to a film set, a sliding-diamond necklace, and a role that fit the brand's ethos before any contract existed.
The connection traces to 2018, when Moore wore Messika's signature Move necklace while playing a free-spirited divorcee in Gloria Bell, directed by Sebastián Lelio. The Move necklace, one of Messika's most recognizable designs, features diamonds that slide freely along a delicate track — an embodiment of the "moving diamonds" concept that founder and artistic director Valérie Messika has made central to the maison's identity since its founding in Paris in 2005. Moore next appeared in Messika's orbit in October 2024, when she attended the opening of the brand's Madison Avenue boutique in New York. Her presence that evening, described by JCK as "modern glamour, quiet confidence, and an elegance that carries unmistakable strength," apparently confirmed what Messika had already sensed.
"Julianne is the very epitome of modern allure — powerful, intelligent and deeply luminous," Valérie Messika said in a statement. "She has that rare presence that is both timeless and strikingly contemporary. From the moment we first met, the connection was immediate. Julianne speaks in emotion and light. As do our diamonds."
As maison ambassador, Moore will represent Messika in marketing campaigns and at international appearances, embodying what the brand describes as a vision of femininity that is "bold, free, and always in motion." The first visuals from her initial campaign are expected to be released in April 2026.

The appointment carries clear strategic weight. The United States now accounts for approximately 15 percent of Messika's business, according to industry reporting, and Moore's profile — rooted in decades of critically acclaimed work and an Academy Award — positions her well for deepening that market. She is also currently a brand ambassador for Bottega Veneta, a role she has held since 2024, and is aligned with watchmaker Movado, placing her among the more consistently brand-partnered figures in Hollywood.
Messika has built a roster of celebrity collaborators in recent years that includes Kendall Jenner, Chinese actor Gong Jun, opera singer Nadine Sierra, and models Alton Mason and Pan Haowen. Moore represents a different register: an actress whose relationship with the maison developed organically through film and real-world attendance rather than through a conventional talent casting process.
Born into a family of diamond dealers, Valérie Messika founded the maison with the intention of making high-diamond jewelry feel wearable and contemporary rather than purely ceremonial. The Move collection, now approaching two decades in the brand's lineup, remains the clearest expression of that ambition. That Moore first encountered it not on a red carpet but on a film set, in character, gives the partnership an unusual origin — and the April campaign will be the first chance to see how Messika translates that origin into imagery.
