Jennifer Tilly stacks Art Deco diamonds for RHOBH reunion sparkle
Jennifer Tilly turned a 30-pound Balmain gown into a lesson in restraint, stacking Art Deco diamonds and Bulgari jewels instead of adding a necklace.

Jennifer Tilly made the jewelry work by refusing to let it compete with the dress. For the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 reunion, she wore a custom black Balmain gown with her face in profile rendered in millions of beads, then kept the sparkle concentrated at her wrists and hands with an Art Deco diamond bracelet stack, a Bulgari bracelet and a Bulgari ring.
The strategy was disciplined, not minimal. With a strapless silhouette already carrying the visual weight, the bracelet stack gave the look structure without crowding the neckline, and the ring added one more flash of polish. That is the right move when the outfit is doing the most: stack wrists, let the hands speak, and skip any necklace that would have to fight for attention against the beading.
Tilly said the dress weighed about 30 pounds and joked, “I can’t really sit in it, but it looks good standing up.” The line makes the calculation clear. This was not a dress for ease; it was built for impact, and Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing reportedly oversaw the intricate embellishment, which took weeks of expert embroidery. Tilly matched the drama with makeup by Rob Rumsey, who worked the front of the dress into her beauty look, and Johnny Stuntz gave her a big 1970s-inspired hairstyle to keep the proportions bold from every angle.
The accessories stayed in the same language of considered excess. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes grounded the look, while the bracelets and ring kept the metal story coherent against the black, white and gold palette. The result was glamour with boundaries, a reminder that layered jewelry reads best when one piece takes the lead and the rest support the composition.
That approach fits Tilly’s long-running taste for statement jewelry with provenance. She has been known to collect large, sculptural pieces and vintage jewels once owned by famous people and powerful women, including items associated with Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Crawford and the Duchess of Windsor. At a previous RHOBH reunion, she wore about $19,000 worth of bracelets and rings from Bulgari, David Webb and Buccellati, a history that makes this latest stack feel less like a one-off and more like part of a carefully built collection. The reunion is set to air on Bravo on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, but the styling lesson was already visible: when the dress is monumental, the smartest jewelry is precise, intentional and beautifully edited.
