Sp-Ring Exhibition 2026 Opens at Anne Morgan Jewellery Gallery in Penarth
Five years in, Sp-Ring brings over 50 rings by 10 independent jewellers to Anne Morgan's Penarth gallery, running until 6 June 2026.

For the fifth consecutive year, Anne Morgan Jewellery on Glebe Street in Penarth has opened its doors to Sp-Ring, an annual selling exhibition dedicated entirely to the ring. More than 50 pieces by 10 independent jewellers are now on show and available to purchase, running until 6 June 2026.
The lineup draws from across the UK and Ireland, mixing established names with new talent and returning makers. This year's ten participants are Alma Sophia, Ami Pepper, Barbora Rybarova, Bola Lyon, Charlotte Rowenna, Eily O'Connell, Natalie Perry, Sarah Brown, Shimara Carlow, and gallery founder Anne Morgan herself. The work ranges from sculptural pieces inspired by marine and organic forms to bold, architectural designs that play deliberately with scale, structure, and clean lines.
Anne Morgan, who founded the gallery and is among the exhibiting makers, frames the exhibition's purpose in terms that go beyond aesthetics. "A piece of jewellery should be a reflection of a moment, a memory, or a milestone," she says. "It's not just about what it looks like, it's about what it represents."
That philosophy is visible in Morgan's own current work. Her Moon Dust Ring in sterling silver and lab-grown diamond and her Moon Disc Pendant in 18ct gold and white diamond both signal a maker working at the intersection of celestial imagery and considered material choices, the latter a noteworthy detail for buyers tracking the shift toward lab-grown stones in fine jewellery.

The exhibition is classified as a selling show, with limited-edition and one-of-a-kind pieces available directly at the gallery. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm, with Wednesdays by appointment only. The full address is 10 Glebe Street, Penarth CF64 1ED.
For five years, Sp-Ring has built a quiet but serious reputation as a destination for contemporary ring design in South Wales. The breadth of the 2026 roster, ten makers working across sculpture, nature, and architectural abstraction, suggests the exhibition has earned that standing.
