The pieces that endure in any jewelry business are rarely accidental. The strategy behind them, the decisions about which customers to court, which technologies to adopt, which stories to tell, matters as much as the craftsmanship. JCK Las Vegas 2026 is leaning into that reality with programming that treats business acumen as integral to the trade as the setting of a stone.

Jesse Itzler, co-founder of Marquis Jet, a part-owner of the Atlanta Hawks, and the New York Times bestselling author of "Living with a SEAL," will deliver the keynote at this year's show. His session, titled "Spiritual Billionaire," is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at 8 a.m. in the Marcello Ballroom on Level 3 of the Venetian Expo, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. The keynote is sponsored by Angola's Diamond Potential.

Itzler's presentation draws on a career built across wildly different domains, from rap music to private aviation to endurance running, to examine how risk-taking, perspective, and hustle translate into sustainable professional growth. He is married to Sara Blakely, the founder of SPANX, and has co-built businesses later acquired by both Coca-Cola and Berkshire Hathaway. That profile is precisely what JCK organizers appear to be after: a speaker whose credibility cannot be reduced to any single industry, including this one.

The keynote arrives alongside the debut of the JCK Talks Signature Series, an elevated education tier running free to all showgoers beginning May 28. The Signature Series introduces advanced sessions designed to go considerably deeper than standard trade-show panels. Highlights include a Harvard Business Case Study and a "Trends and Outlook" session, led by an industry veteran, examining the economic indicators currently shaping jewelry retail. The broader JCK Talks slate covers AI and analytics, business management, marketing, retail trends, and a newly dedicated watch track.

That last addition is worth noting. Timepieces have migrated from trade adjacency to genuine category competition for many fine jewelers, and carving out a dedicated track signals that JCK organizers see that shift as durable rather than cyclical. The AI and analytics sessions raise a parallel question that independent jewelers can no longer defer: how to deploy consumer data without eroding the intimate client relationships that define the business in the first place.

JCK Las Vegas 2026 runs May 29 through June 1 at the Venetian Expo. The companion Luxury event opens May 27 for select invitees, with AGTA GemFair and a new Lifestyle pavilion accessible from May 28. Together, the Itzler keynote and the Signature Series sketch a portrait of an industry at a genuine inflection point: one that knows how to make beautiful things, and is now reckoning seriously with what it means to sell them wisely.
