Her long-standing membership in the Eastern Star and more than 40 years with the Peebles Library Magazine Club placed Bennett at the center of civic and social life in the village and surrounding rural communities. Those affiliations reflect the role older residents play in sustaining local volunteer groups, informal networks and cultural continuity across generations in Adams County.
Public graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring, Ohio, with Pastor Greg Seaman officiating.
