Ronald D. Warnock, 86, of Reesville Passes Away Sunday
Reesville pastor and gunsmith Ronald D. Warnock, 86, led New Life Apostolic Church while serving as general chairman of a national Pentecostal denomination and restoring firearms for decades.

Ronald D. Warnock spent more than 30 years on the factory floor at Cincinnati Milacron, built a firearms restoration business that carried his name through most of his adult life, and still found time to pastor a church and lead a national Pentecostal denomination from a village on Church Street. Warnock, 86, died Sunday, April 5, 2026, at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
Born February 27, 1940, in Locust Grove to William Taylor Warnock and Brooke Browning Warnock, he was known throughout the region simply as Ronnie. His post-Milacron years did not bring retirement in any conventional sense: Warnock's Gun Sights, the firearms restoration operation he ran for most of his life, kept him at the bench long after he left the factory.
The congregation at New Life Apostolic Church on Church Street in Reesville knew him as their pastor, but Warnock's authority extended well beyond that single church. He served as General Chairman of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ, a denominational leadership role that placed a bishop from a small Adams County village at the head of a broader network of congregations. His listing in the PAJC ministerial directory as Bishop Ronald Warnock underscored a reach that the village's size alone would never suggest. The church he led became the gathering place his community will return to Monday: New Life Apostolic is where Reesville will say goodbye.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Warnock; children Teresa (Tom) Paul, Amanda Warnock, Ronnie (Cindy) Warnock, and Mike (Tami) Warnock; bonus daughters Lindsey (Tony) Roderer and Lauren (Marco) Lechuga; eight grandchildren, Chyenne Creek, Aaron Warnock, Hollie Kowalski, Sarah Carlson, Samantha Paul, Wyatt Warnock, Garrett Warnock, and Grant Warnock; 10 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Aden, Brooklin, Andrew, Dominic, Isaiah, Josie, Elby, and Charlie; and bonus grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled Sunday, April 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. at New Life Apostolic Church in Reesville. Funeral services follow Monday, April 13, at noon at the same location. Burial will be at Highlawn Cemetery in Washington Court House. Littleton Funeral Home of Sabina is directing services.
