The Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce held its monthly ElevateHER entrepreneurs meet up on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Alamance Arts in Graham, offering networking, a Business Spotlight and a small retail opportunity afterward. The free session aimed to connect female entrepreneurs and small business owners, strengthening local business ties and promoting retail opportunities at a community arts venue.

The Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the December ElevateHER entrepreneurs meet up on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Alamance Arts, 213 S. Main Street in Graham. Scheduled as a monthly networking and peer support session for female entrepreneurs and small business owners, the session opened for optional drop in attendance from 7:30 to 9:00 AM with a brief Business Spotlight beginning around 8:00 AM. Organizers noted that the event was free and open to non members, and a small retail opportunity at the Alamance Arts gift shop followed the formal portion of the meeting.
The format emphasized casual conversation over coffee and practical peer support aimed at helping local proprietors expand contacts and test retail concepts in a low cost setting. By pairing a networking morning with a retail showcase at a community arts site, the chamber provided a practical avenue for makers and small retailers to reach customers and gain visibility without committing to long term retail expenses.
For local residents who run sole proprietorships, micro enterprises, or small storefronts, the meetup offered direct market access and a chance to build supplier and customer relationships. The venue choice at Alamance Arts also linked creative producers with a physical retail presence, reinforcing the economic bridge between the arts sector and small business retail. Event materials listed Stephanie Williams as a chamber contact and included a registration link on the chamber event page.
From a policy perspective, recurring programs such as ElevateHER can strengthen business networks that support growth and resilience in the local economy. Regular peer networking helps entrepreneurs refine offerings, coordinate marketing, and pursue partnerships that reduce barriers to market entry. Continued public and private support for affordable networking and pop up retail space can amplify these gains by lowering overhead and expanding customer exposure.
As the chamber continues monthly meet ups, local entrepreneurs have an ongoing, low cost forum to test products, cultivate customers and deepen ties across Alamance County business and arts communities.
