Albany County Public Library Hosts Family-Friendly Tiny Art Drop-In March 15
Laramie's Albany County Public Library is hosting a Tiny Art Display drop-in for families on March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room.

The Albany County Public Library at 310 S. 8th Street in Laramie is hosting a Tiny Art Display on March 15, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in its Large Meeting Room. The event is designed as a drop-in, family-friendly art program, meaning attendees can come and go at any point during the three-hour window.
The library has not disclosed whether materials will be provided, whether registration is required, or whether there is a cost to participate. Anyone with questions before the event can call the Albany County Public Library directly at (307) 721-2580. The library's regular Monday hours run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Tiny Art Display fits into a broader pattern of arts programming the library has offered the Laramie community over the years. Past events held in the same Large Meeting Room have included a community art project as part of a construction kickoff celebration and watercolor classes led by instructor Lynn Jones, a Wyoming resident of more than 30 years with a background in colored pencil, watercolor, and pastel.

The ACPL Foundation, the library's nonprofit support arm, funds the library's entire programming budget, which spans youth initiatives such as Book Babies, Kids Lego Club, and STEAM programming, as well as adult offerings including art programs, book clubs, and the High Plains Seed Library. In 2017, the Foundation partnered with the Laramie Public Art Coalition to install two murals inside the library: "A Lemur's Tale" by Favian Hernandez in the Children's Area and "Do You See What I See" by Diana Baumbach in the non-fiction area. The Foundation can be reached at (307) 460-2481.
The March 15 event falls on a Sunday, four days from the date of this report. The Large Meeting Room, which the library uses regularly for public events, is located inside the main branch at 310 S. 8th Street.
