Navajo Police Seek Public Help Finding Missing Chinle Teen Stuart Mitchell
Stuart Ryder Mitchell, 16, vanished from Chinle District on March 17 and hasn't been found five days later.
The Navajo Police Department is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of 16-year-old Stuart Ryder Mitchell to come forward, five days after the Chinle District teenager was last seen on March 17, 2026.
Mitchell was reported missing from the Chinle District, the sprawling northeastern Arizona community that serves as one of the primary population centers within the Navajo Nation. The Navajo Police Department issued a public alert and circulated a missing-person notice requesting community assistance in locating him.
As of March 22, Mitchell has not been found. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to contact the Navajo Police Department's Chinle District office directly.
