Contractors working Autauga County job sites and organizers planning spring and summer events now have a closer option for portable restrooms, roll-off dumpsters, and temporary fencing after Countrywide Rental announced it was adding Autaugaville to its Central Alabama service area.

The company, a national provider of site services, formally entered the market April 2, offering rental packages for construction projects, organized worksites, and public events. Its core lineup covers portable sanitation units, waste containment dumpsters, and perimeter and crowd-control fencing, with professional delivery, setup, and ongoing maintenance included in the service model.

"Autaugaville is a growing community with increasing needs for reliable site services," a company spokesperson said in announcing the expansion.

The timing aligns with an active stretch of regional development. Autauga County added a 50,000-square-foot UFP Packaging facility in its Interstate Business Park in 2024. For builders on residential and commercial projects across the county, sourcing sanitation and fencing locally rather than from more distant markets can shorten delivery windows and reduce the per-unit rental costs that accumulate on longer jobs. Churches planning outdoor revival gatherings and rodeo and festival coordinators at county venues face the same calculus when booking portable restrooms and crowd-control fencing for warm-weather events.

There is also a secondary environmental argument for expanded dumpster access in rural Autauga County. The county currently provides free roll-off dumpsters for rural residents disposing of bulky items through Meridian Waste, but that service is first-come, first-served and the dumpster leaves once full. For contractors whose project timelines don't align with the county's schedule, a private rental option on short notice could reduce pressure to dump construction debris illegally, a persistent problem across rural Alabama. The organization Alabama People Against a Littered State, which coordinates litter cleanup programs in Autauga County, can be reached at 334-263-7737.

Countrywide Rental's announcement did not identify a physical depot location in Autaugaville or specify how many local driver and technician positions the expansion would create. Contractors and event planners evaluating the company should compare pricing and availability against other regional providers before committing for the spring project season.
