Long-Lewis Opens Ford Pro Elite Commercial Fleet Center in Prattville
Long-Lewis cuts the ribbon Wednesday on Prattville's first Ford Elite Commercial Fleet Center, a $4.7M facility that brings the dealer's total local investment to nearly $13 million.

Long-Lewis of the River Region will formally open its new Ford Pro Elite Commercial Fleet Center at 2091 Fairview Avenue in Prattville on Wednesday, March 18, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The 20,000-square-foot facility represents a $4.7 million investment and is positioned as the first Ford Elite Commercial Fleet Center in the River Region.
The project caps a construction timeline that began with a groundbreaking in March 2025, when Mayor Gillespie and city leaders joined Long-Lewis on Fairview Avenue to break ground. At the time, the city projected the expansion would add 20 to 25 jobs and push Long-Lewis's total capital investment in Prattville to nearly $13 million, up from the more than $8 million the company had already committed since opening its Prattville location in 2014.
The facility features enlarged service bays designed to handle a wide range of commercial and heavy-duty vehicles, along with dedicated office space for commercial account managers. According to the Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce, the center is built to deliver fleet sales, service, and uptime solutions, functioning as a comprehensive resource for businesses that operate vehicle fleets of any size.
Prattville was selected for the facility over competing sites in Montgomery and Millbrook, according to WAKA Action 8 News.

The ribbon-cutting is listed as a Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce event. Businesses that operate fleets or are exploring fleet options are encouraged to attend and tour the facility. RSVPs are requested for meal planning purposes and can be directed to Brittany Parrott at 256-267-6100, though walk-ins are welcome.
Long-Lewis Automotive Group, which describes itself as carrying a 110-year legacy, operates eight dealership locations across Alabama. The Prattville facility on Fairview Avenue now serves as the company's commercial fleet flagship for the River Region.
