Millbrook alum Nazeeh Johnson signs with Tennessee Titans

Nazeeh Johnson, the Millbrook High School graduate who became a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, is signing with the Tennessee Titans, adding another NFL chapter to one of Autauga County’s most visible football success stories. Tennessee listed Johnson among its 2026 offseason additions as the club worked to strengthen its secondary before training camp.

Johnson entered the league as a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, when Kansas City selected him 259th overall out of Marshall University. He spent his first three NFL seasons with the Chiefs, where reporting on his pro career credited him with 66 tackles and one sack while also making him a regular part of special teams work. Pro Football Reference lists him at 5-foot-10 and 199 pounds.

The move gives Tennessee a veteran defensive back who already has championship experience. Johnson helped Kansas City win Super Bowl LVII and later was named co-sports marshal for the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in 2023, a hometown-style honor that followed his title run and kept his name tied to the Shenandoah Valley spotlight. His rise has also stayed close to home in Millbrook, where the high school honored Johnson and his family before the Super Bowl, turning his NFL path into a local milestone for students watching from Autauga County.

The Titans move was tied in reporting to Johnson’s agents at Katz Bros., and it fits Tennessee’s effort to add depth in the defensive backfield. NBC Sports noted the agreement on July 24, while Titans coverage the next day described the signing as part of a push to bolster depth ahead of camp. Johnson now heads to Nashville with a résumé built on draft-day persistence, special teams value and two championship rings.
