Millbrook Market Morning Brew Boosts Small Businesses, Supports Food Bank
The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce held its November Morning Brew at Main Street Vintage Market on Nov. 19, 2025, drawing 59 attendees including chamber members, local business owners, ambassadors and city representatives. The event spotlighted a heavily decorated holiday market that supports 60 to 70 small vendors and encouraged donations to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank with a 20 percent discount for donors.

On Nov. 19, the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce brought chamber members and community leaders together for its November Morning Brew at Main Street Vintage Market. Chamber Chair Cady Mills reported that 59 people attended, filling the market for a morning of networking, shopping and seasonal promotion. The gathering attracted chamber ambassadors, local business owners and city representatives who used the event to reconnect ahead of the holiday period.
Main Street Vintage Market owner Amy Floyd thanked attendees and emphasized the market’s role in the local retail ecosystem. The market supports an estimated 60 to 70 small vendors who rent booths, offering a retail space for sole proprietors and microenterprises to reach shoppers during a critical sales period. To galvanize community giving, the market offered a 20 percent discount on certain items for patrons who brought food donations, with proceeds directed to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank.
Chamber CEO Brenda Dennis called the market "a gem," a comment that underscored the chamber’s emphasis on small business visibility and place based commerce. The Morning Brew event served as both a promotional platform for vendors and a practical networking session for business owners seeking customers and local partnerships during the busy holiday season.

For Autauga County residents, the event had immediate economic implications. By drawing shoppers into a concentrated retail venue, the market increased foot traffic for local vendors and created short term revenue opportunities for 60 to 70 enterprises. The food bank partnership also channeled community resources to households facing food insecurity at a time of year when demand typically rises. City representatives in attendance signaled continued municipal interest in supporting local business hubs and community oriented initiatives.
The Millbrook Area Chamber’s Morning Brew program continues to function as a nexus for business development and civic giving, combining seasonal retail activity with targeted charitable outreach. As vendors head into the remainder of the holiday shopping season, events like this aim to sustain local sales, strengthen business networks and provide tangible support to community safety net organizations.
