Prattville senior Deshawn Hall capped a standout Class 6A season by being named Autauga County Boys Basketball Player of the Year by Elmore-Autauga News, finishing with averages of 19.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.5 steals and 3.6 blocks per game for the Lions.

The numbers are difficult to contextualize in any single category because Hall's value to Prattville was distributed across every phase of the game. He shot 53 percent from the field and 39 percent from three-point range, making him a credible scoring threat from the perimeter while anchoring the paint at both ends. That combination of rim protection and outside shooting forced opposing defenses into uncomfortable compromises throughout the season.
