American Craft Made Baltimore returned to the Baltimore Convention Center this week in its 49th year, assembling more than 400 juried artists and an estimated 10,000 attendees across Halls A, B and C. The American Craft Council billed the Marketplace as its flagship event and listed the show as an "annual immersive event that brings together over 400 accomplished artists and makers, 10,000 attendees, and dozens of local partner organizations from across the East Coast for shopping, demonstrations, hands-on experiences, and connection through craft."

The event schedule included a ticketed Opening Night Preview on Thursday, February 19, followed by the main Marketplace Friday through Sunday. Multiple listings showed Friday and Saturday hours as 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; some listings gave Sunday's closing time as 5:00 PM while the ACC event page listed Sunday through 6:00 PM. Presale admission had been offered at $10, day-of tickets were $15, Weekend Passes provided access to all three days, and children 12 and under were admitted free. ACC Members were listed as receiving two complimentary tickets per day or two complimentary Weekend Passes per event, and group rates of up to 50 percent on single-day admission were available for groups of 10 or more through Alaina Clarke at the American Craft Council.

Vendors and visitors used the Charles Street Lobby entrance to the Convention Center at One West Pratt Street, a venue described on regional listings as the premier Mid-Atlantic location for conventions. Culture Fly noted the Convention Center's downtown location near the Inner Harbor and Little Italy and its transit connections, including MARC and Light Rail service, a roughly 7-minute drive to Penn Station, and about a 20-minute drive to BWI Airport. Harbor Park Garage marketed a nearby parking option at $18 for single-day parking and $24 for multi-day overnight passes with unlimited in-and-out access; the garage is a three-minute walk from the Convention Center.

Programming on the show floor included artist demonstrations, hands-on activities and evening events. Harbor Park Garage used the event's marketing language to invite attendees to "Meet the artists. Touch the work. Buy directly from the makers. Take home something extraordinary." The Marketplace also appeared alongside regional cultural listings such as the Stoop 20th Anniversary at Creative Alliance on Friday, February 20.

Baltimore Fishbowl characterized the Marketplace as the largest juried crafts fair on the East Coast, a label that echoed the ACC's positioning of the show as a long-running, juried craft fair. With roughly 10,000 visitors spread among more than 400 exhibitors, the fair continued to act as a concentrated sales and discovery platform for makers and a downtown draw for shoppers and collectors. Tickets had been listed as on sale in advance; group-buy and membership benefits were highlighted as incentives for return visits as the ACC moves toward its 50th edition.
