Baltimore Police Arrest Man Charged in Fatal Shooting of Kyree Plummer

Craig Anthony Parker spent nearly four weeks as a wanted man after 21-year-old Kyree Plummer was shot and killed on the 3500 block of 5th Street in Baltimore's Brooklyn neighborhood. Parker, 42, of Baltimore, was arrested on March 24 and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the killing of Kyree Plummer.

The shooting was reported shortly before 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 25, when officers were called to the 3500 block of Fifth Street. Upon arrival, officers found Plummer suffering from a gunshot wound to his body, and he was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. Plummer died at the hospital on Feb. 26. As his condition worsened, the case was upgraded to a homicide and detectives took over the investigation.

Warrant Apprehension Task Force detectives tracked down Parker and took him into custody without incident in Baltimore on Monday, March 24. He was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder.

Baltimore Police confirmed in their announcement that "Parker was wanted in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Kyree Plummer on February 26, 2026, in the 3500 block of 5th Street."
