Man Killed, Second Victim Hospitalized in N. Gilmore Street Shooting
A 40-year-old man died at University of Maryland Hospital after a late-night shooting on N. Gilmore Street; a second man, 44, walked himself to a hospital in critical condition.

A 40-year-old man is dead and a 44-year-old man remains in critical condition after a shooting in the 300 block of N. Gilmore Street in Southwest Baltimore late Tuesday night, Baltimore Police Department homicide detectives confirmed.
Officers were directed to the scene by two ShotSpotter alerts received right before midnight. When they arrived, they found the 40-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to University of Maryland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
The second victim did not wait for officers. The 44-year-old man walked into a local hospital on his own, seeking treatment for gunshot wounds, and was listed in critical condition, according to police.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation. No arrests or suspect information have been publicly announced as of Friday, March 21.
