Police seek two men in Baltimore armed robbery investigation
Police released images of two men tied to an April 1 armed robbery in the 1400 block of Washington Boulevard and are asking residents for tips.

Police released images of two men they say were involved in an armed robbery in the 1400 block of Washington Boulevard and are asking Baltimore residents to help identify them. The robbery happened April 1, and investigators are using the photos to move the case forward as they continue working through the city’s violent-crime backlog and active robbery cases.
The Baltimore Police Department said anyone with information should call detectives at 410-396-2499. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 1-866-7LOCKUP, where callers may qualify for a cash reward of up to $2,000 if their information leads to an arrest or resolution.
The release comes as Baltimore police continue to emphasize public-facing crime reporting and faster identification of suspects. The department’s Open Baltimore data system includes Part 1 crimes, such as robbery and aggravated assault, while executive crime and arrest statistics are updated weekly by the BPD ComStat Unit. That public reporting has shown recent citywide declines in robbery and other major violent-crime categories, giving added context to why investigators are pushing for quick tips in this case.
Washington Boulevard is one of the city’s better-known corridors, and robberies there can ripple beyond a single block by affecting how people move through the area and how quickly businesses, commuters and nearby residents respond to police alerts. In cases like this, investigators often rely on the public to match faces, clothing or movement captured on video with people who may have been in the area that day.
Police have not released additional details about the armed robbery itself, including what was taken or whether anyone was injured. For now, the department is centering the investigation on the images and the April 1 location, while asking anyone with even small pieces of information to come forward through detectives or the anonymous tip line.
