Bamberg City Hosts Car, Bike and Truck Cruise-In, Swap Meet March 21
Free cruise-in and swap meet hits the Bamberg Civic Center parking lot March 21, with car parts trading starting at 8 a.m.

The City of Bamberg is bringing cars, bikes, trucks and a swap meet to the Bamberg Civic Center parking lot on Saturday, March 21, with the whole affair running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and admission free for everyone who shows up.
The day splits into two distinct acts. Vendors and sellers kick things off at 8 a.m. for the Swap Meet, which is billed as a chance to "bring those leftover car parts from your projects to barter, sell or trade." The Cruise-In itself runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For anyone unfamiliar with the format, a cruise-in is "a car show without prizes and trophies," where participants can "drop in and leave when you want." That open-door philosophy extends to what rolls into the Bamberg Civic Center parking lot: cars, bikes, trucks, big rig semis, mud trucks, drag cars, golf carts and side-by-sides are all welcome.
Vehicle age is equally flexible. The event welcomes antiques over 100 years old, vintage rides over 50 years, classics over 25 years, brand-new 2023-2024 models, electric vehicles, super sports, grand touring cars, domestic and imported vehicles, along with anything jacked up, lowered or currently mid-project. The organizing standard, as the listing puts it: "if you're proud of it, bring it."
Food vendors will be on site throughout the event. Spectators should note that parking is available between Crosby's and Billy's.
The Bamberg Civic Center sits at 2477 Main Hwy, Bamberg, SC 29003. Questions can be directed to the City of Bamberg at 803.245.5128 or cityofbamberg@bambergsc.com.
