Hawaiʻi Police Seek Three Men After Kailua‑Kona Motorcycle Theft, Considered Armed
Hawaiʻi police seek Robert James Teinauri Carman, John Thomas Broadfoot Jr. and Nicole Arsenault after investigators say they’re tied to a daytime theft of a black 2020 Suzuki; all three “should be considered armed and dangerous.”

The Hawaiʻi Police Department is asking the public for help locating three Ocean View residents wanted on active arrest warrants who investigators say are tied to the daytime theft of a black 2020 Suzuki motorcycle in Kailua‑Kona. Police said the trio were last seen at about 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, in the Kaloko Light Industrial Area operating a blue Nissan sedan and warned that “Due to the nature of the warrants and current information available to investigators, all three individuals should be considered armed and dangerous.”
Authorities explicitly advised that “Members of the public are advised not to approach them” and urged anyone who spots the vehicle or the individuals to call 911 immediately. For non-emergencies, the Hawaiʻi Police Department can be reached at (808) 935-3311, and anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
The three people named by investigators are Robert James Teinauri Carman, 41, of Ocean View; John Thomas Broadfoot Jr., 44, of Ocean View; and Nicole Arsenault, 48, listed as Ocean View with frequent ties to Kailua‑Kona. Carman is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 175 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos on the front and back of his body. Investigators circulated courtesy photos of Carman as part of the public request.
Broadfoot is listed at 6 feet tall and 235 pounds with black hair and brown eyes; a courtesy photo for Broadfoot was also provided by police. Arsenault is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 110 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes, and police released a courtesy photo for her as well. Ages and physical descriptions for all three were included in the department’s release.

Police said the three are known to frequent Kailua‑Kona and the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates area in addition to Ocean View. The last confirmed sighting on Feb. 18 placed them in the Kaloko Light Industrial Area of Kailua‑Kona in a blue Nissan sedan; no license plate number has been released. Investigators asked the public to treat the situation as ongoing and to avoid any direct contact with the individuals or the vehicle.
While the department’s public request states investigators “believed to have stolen a black 2020 Suzuki motorcycle,” police have not released the specific charges listed on the active arrest warrants. The Hawaiʻi Police Department has not provided additional details tying the warrants directly to that theft in the public release.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Robert James Teinauri Carman, John Thomas Broadfoot Jr., or Nicole Arsenault is asked to call 911 immediately. For tips that are not an emergency, call (808) 935-3311 or provide anonymous information to Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
