All County Tire buys seven-shop Auto Repair Pros in South Florida

All County Tire & Auto has bought Auto Repair Pros, adding seven South Florida shops that include Broward locations in Hollywood and Margate and making the chain’s 16th store in Florida. The acquisition folds a local repair business built by Eric Rutherford, Mike Difato and Chris Green into Straightaway Tire & Auto, which says it now has more than 100 locations and is owned by O2 Investment Partners LP.

For Broward drivers, the immediate question is what happens at the counter, in the bay and on the warranty ticket at places such as the Hollywood North shop at 1631 N State Rd 7 and the company’s other nearby locations. A larger owner can change how fast appointments fill up, how parts are sourced and how service work moves through the system, especially when a seven-shop local brand is absorbed into a regional platform with far more purchasing power.

Auto Repair Pros says Rutherford and Difato already owned and ran Prestige European Auto Care in Fort Lauderdale before they teamed with Chris Green to launch the company. The business later expanded to seven locations and also partnered with USP Euro Car Care. Modern Tire Dealer reported that the founders grew the brand throughout Fort Lauderdale and South Florida over the past seven years, which helps explain why the chain became attractive to a buyer looking for a ready-made foothold in the region.

All County said the seller’s family-business reputation and customer service values were part of the appeal. That matters in Broward County, where independent repair shops compete not just on labor rates but on turnaround time, specialty knowledge and the ability to keep repeat customers loyal when repair bills rise.

The transaction was struck at 2x to 4x SDE multiples, a range that sits near broader small-business automotive benchmarks. BizBuySell’s latest five-year data show automotive and boat businesses averaging about 3.10x earnings multiples, while auto repair and service shops average about 2.79x. BizBuySell says that data is based on businesses sold from the third quarter of 2021 through the second quarter of 2026.

Seven-shop deals have precedent in South Florida. In 2019, Classic Collision bought all seven Carolina Auto Body locations across the region, including stores in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Pompano Beach and Tamarac. The latest sale suggests Broward’s repair market remains active, with local shops still being pulled into larger networks that can reset prices, staffing and customer access across the county.
