No Injuries Reported After 24 Shell Casings Found at West Asheville Complex
Shots from multiple guns rang out near a candlelight vigil Monday night at Pisgah View Apartments, leaving 24 shell casings, five live rounds, and two bullet-struck vehicles behind.

Shots fired from multiple guns disrupted a candlelight vigil Monday night at the Pisgah View Apartment complex on Granada Street in West Asheville, leaving two vehicles damaged and 24 shell casings scattered across the scene. No injuries were reported.
Asheville Police Department officers were called to the complex at about 8:45 p.m. When they arrived, the suspect had already left. Canvassing the area, officers found two vehicles struck by gunfire, 24 shell casings from firearms of different calibers, and an additional five live rounds under a nearby bush.
The evidence points to more than one weapon being used. Police confirmed the 24 shell casings came from firearms of different calibers, suggesting multiple guns were discharged near the vigil.
The gathering was being held in memory of Eric Lee Anderson Lordman Jr., 27, who was shot and killed early Saturday morning. Lordman died after being shot multiple times, and community members had assembled at the complex to mourn him when the gunfire erupted.

No arrests have been reported and no suspect descriptions have been released. The Asheville Police Department says the investigation remains active.
