DrSnip opens first Texas vasectomy clinic in Plano

DrSnip opened its first Texas vasectomy clinic at 1316 Village Creek Drive, Ste. 600, in Plano, giving Collin County men a local option for a procedure the company says it can complete in less than 15 minutes. The Seattle-based practice opened the office June 12 and plans a grand opening July 23 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The clinic says it specializes in no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomies and has performed more than 36,000 procedures since 1987. That narrow focus sets it apart from a traditional urology practice, where patients typically book care across a broader range of male health needs. In Plano, DrSnip is betting there is room for a stand-alone outpatient clinic built around a single elective procedure and a faster patient experience.

The Texas launch extends a company that began in Seattle in 1987 as The Vasectomy Clinic and later added Portland. DrSnip says Plano is its third location, placing North Texas inside a small regional network built around one service rather than a full specialty roster. For men in Plano, Frisco, McKinney and the rest of Dallas-Fort Worth, the clinic offers a closer option for care that many would otherwise have to schedule farther from home.

Public business records list the Plano operation as The Vasectomy Clinic TX PC at the same Village Creek Drive address, with Robert Brown MD named as the owner and an enumeration date of March 10, 2026. The company’s Plano listing gives appointments by phone at (945) 403-2900. DrSnip’s site lists Plano hours Monday through Saturday with Sunday closed, and its pages show slightly different weekday times, one listing 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and another listing 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The July 23 opening is set to include a ribbon cutting, refreshments, giveaways, clinic tours and physician availability. The event signals a clinic trying to introduce a procedure that can carry anxiety with a more approachable setting, while filling a specific gap in North Texas elective outpatient care.
