Frisco Man Eric Moore, Former Teacher, Arrested on Child Sex Charges
Frisco man Eric Moore, a former teacher, was arrested on felony child‑sex charges; Little Elm police urge anyone with information to contact them.

Eric Moore, a 30-year-old Frisco resident who taught at North Texas Collegiate Academy - East Campus in Little Elm, was arrested on felony charges after a criminal investigation that began following a report on Jan. 7. Little Elm police say Moore faces two felony counts: indecency with a child by sexual conduct, a second-degree felony, and continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony.
Police say the investigation began Jan. 7 after an allegation at the Little Elm campus prompted a criminal probe. Moore was placed on administrative leave the same day and was later barred from school property while investigators worked. The school lists its East Campus on Oak Grove Parkway. Moore resigned Jan. 13, according to the district statement released after the initial report.
Authorities said they found evidence of sexual abuse based on the Jan. 7 report and that the investigation is ongoing. Officials have not disclosed the ages of the alleged victims or a timeline of the alleged conduct. Denton County jail records list the charges against Moore, and Little Elm police issued a media release summarizing the arrest and charges.
The school district acknowledged the personnel actions taken after the allegation, saying, "immediately after learning a student made the abuse allegation against Moore on Jan. 7, he was placed on administrative leave and not allowed on school property during the investigation. Moore resigned Jan. 13, the statement said." The district added, "Our hearts are with our students, families, and staff as we navigate this difficult situation together."
Moore's defense counsel, Ashley Feldt of Varghese Summersett, urged caution in public reaction, saying, "While we recognize the gravity of the charges and the understandable public concern, these matters are often far more complex than initial reports suggest. It’s important to withhold judgment until a more accurate and complete picture of the evidence is developed."
For Collin County parents and neighbors, the case underscores the local stakes in school safety and mandatory reporting. North Texas Collegiate Academy serves elementary and middle school students at its Little Elm campus, so district procedures for notifying families, supporting affected students, and coordinating with law enforcement are likely to be closely examined. Little Elm police said they are working to connect affected children and families with appropriate resources as the probe continues.

Next steps for the case include formal charging documents and any court calendar entries to be issued through Denton County; those records will provide further detail on the allegations and procedural timeline.
This arrest is a developing story for families and school leaders across Collin County. Expect follow-up reporting as police release charging documents, Denton County posts court records, and the district outlines steps to support students and review safety practices.
