The Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation Department and the city Youth Advisory Council issued a civic announcement on November 24 outlining multiple family friendly Christmas activities running through December 13, with a slate of events slated for Saturday, December 13 at the Civic Center. The schedule and ticketing details matter for residents planning holiday outings, and the program highlights explicit adaptive programming for people with special needs.

The city of Copperas Cove on November 24 published a civic release detailing holiday programs at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, 1206 W Avenue B, that will run through December 13 and will culminate in multiple events on Saturday, December 13. The announcement, issued by the Parks and Recreation Department in coordination with the Youth Advisory Council, provides dates, times and ticketing procedures for residents.
A Santa’s Magical Mailbox will be available at the Civic Center through December 13 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents are invited to leave letters and may include a return address if they wish their child to receive a reply from Santa. The mailbox offers a low cost way for families to engage with seasonal traditions without attending a single event.
On Saturday, December 13 the Civic Center will host a Breakfast with Santa from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. The morning will feature a pancake and sausage breakfast along with arts and crafts and opportunities to drop off letters to Santa. Tickets are available at the Civic Center and the city release lists the price at seven dollars per person, with children three and under admitted at no charge.
That same day the city will hold Adaptive Cookies with Santa from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The evening program is specifically designed for participants with physical and intellectual disabilities and for families seeking accessible holiday programming. The adaptive session is ticketed at five dollars per person with children three and under free, and the announcement notes that adaptive programming is available to accommodate families and individuals with special needs.
The release directs questions to the Parks and Recreation office at ccpard@copperascovetx.gov and to Recreation Superintendent Caycee Hauck at chauck@copperascovetx.gov. By scheduling a mix of free low cost and adaptive options, the city is signaling a commitment to inclusive community recreation and youth engagement through the Youth Advisory Council. For residents, the calendar and ticketing instructions provide practical information needed to plan participation, and the explicit accommodation for special needs addresses access concerns that can limit holiday participation for some families.
