FOX 44, Gage Construction launch free home repair giveaway in Coryell County area
Coryell County residents can nominate neighbors for free home repairs, with one household chosen each month for work that can include ramps, roof fixes and window replacement.

A new home-repair giveaway is opening a no-cost path for Coryell County families who cannot take on major fixes alone. KWKT FOX 44 and Gage Construction say one person will be selected each month for residential construction or repairs, with nominations open to residents in Coryell, McLennan, Bell and Falls counties.
The Love Thy Neighbor program is aimed at the kind of problems that can quickly make a house harder to live in: wheelchair ramp installation, bathroom floor repair, ADA access doors, window replacement, porch or roof repair, and replacing rotted wood on siding. FOX 44 says the work will be done at no cost by Gage Construction.
The giveaway was posted by FOX 44 on April 7, 2026, and it adds another layer to a program that has already delivered visible help. In February 2026, Love Thy Neighbor completed a total roof replacement for Marlin resident Jeneva Tow, whose roof was nearly 30 years old and had worn down after decades of Texas weather.
That project began in October and brought in Gage Construction, Spartan Roofing and SRS Building Products. For homeowners living with aging roofs, unsafe steps or damaged flooring, the program offers repairs that can change daily life in a single project rather than forcing families to wait until they can afford a contractor.
Gage Construction describes the effort as a way for those who are blessed to give back to people in need. The company is asking neighbors to nominate someone in McLennan, Bell, Coryell or Falls County who could use help with home improvements or repairs.
For Coryell County, that could mean an older resident in Gatesville struggling with a failing porch, a veteran in Copperas Cove who needs a wheelchair ramp, or a family in a rural part of the county facing roof leaks after years of weather damage. One household will be selected each month, keeping the program focused on practical repairs with immediate impact.
