The Dubois County Community Foundation awarded $7.3 million in grants in 2025 as it crossed $105 million in total assets and marked its 30th year serving the county.

The Dubois County Community Foundation closed 2025 with $7.3 million in grants distributed to local organizations and initiatives, the foundation announced March 18 as it released its 2025 Annual Report and marked its 30th anniversary.
The Jasper-based foundation also reported $12.1 million in contributions from local donors during the year, alongside investment returns of 13.96% that pushed total assets to $105 million. The combination of strong donor engagement and portfolio performance represents a notable milestone for an organization that began three decades ago as a vehicle for community philanthropy in Dubois County.
The 2025 Annual Report, which covers the foundation's grantmaking activity, philanthropic flows, and priority focus areas heading into 2026, also highlights new endowments and stories of donor impact across the county. The foundation described the report as demonstrating "how donors are creating meaningful impact across our community."

The 30th anniversary marks three decades since the foundation was established as a conduit for local giving. Founded with the mission of strengthening Dubois County through philanthropy, the organization has grown from a local charitable vehicle into a $105 million institution that coordinates grant funding across a wide range of local nonprofit causes and initiatives.
