Saint Meinrad Seminary Choir Presents Free Lenten Concert March 19

The Saint Meinrad Seminary Choir will bring a free Lenten prayer and music program titled "Meditations on the Seven Last Words" to St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel on Thursday, March 19, at 7 p.m. Central time. The program is presented by Saint Meinrad Archabbey Cultural Events and is open to anyone who wishes to attend.

The evening centers on the seven last words of Jesus before his death on the cross. For each of the seven, the program will move through a Gospel reading, a reflection, and a choral piece, structuring the night as a sustained meditation rather than a traditional concert.

The chapel sits on the Saint Meinrad campus at 200 Hill Drive in St. Meinrad. Parking is available in the Guest House and student parking lots. Admission is free and no advance registration is required.

The choir last performed in St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel on November 3, 2025, and the March 19 program marks one of several cultural events Saint Meinrad has scheduled this spring. A La Voce! concert is set for March 24, and the ensemble Carion is scheduled to perform April 21.
