Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand to Launch Podcast March 18
The Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand will debut "The Sisters on the Hill" podcast at noon March 18, recorded in a studio funded by a Women of the Rule grant.

The Sisters of St. Benedict at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand are stepping into a new medium with the launch of "The Sisters on the Hill," a podcast set to debut at noon on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
The podcast was recorded in a dedicated studio at Monastery Immaculate Conception, a facility made possible through a grant from The Women of the Rule. According to the Sisters' own announcement, the show will feature "meaningful conversations, stories and reflections" from the community on the hill overlooking Ferdinand.
The Women of the Rule, whose members have supported the Benedictine community in various ways over the years, provided the funding that allowed the monastery to build out a professional recording space. The Sisters describe the grant as "generous," and the studio it produced now serves as the production home for the new series.

Monastery Immaculate Conception has long been one of the most prominent landmarks in Dubois County, its distinctive dome visible for miles across the rolling countryside of southern Indiana. The podcast represents a new way for the community to share its spiritual life beyond the monastery grounds, reaching listeners wherever they are.
No information has been released about which Sisters will host or appear on the show, how frequently new episodes will drop, or which platforms will carry the podcast. Full details are expected to become available when the first episode goes live on March 18.
